New City College, Havering - Rainham Campus

Our Rainham campus, in New Road, Rainham, is ideally situated for local people looking for training for the highly skilled employment opportunities available locally. Rainham is currently our Construction Centre for students engaged in learning the trades of Bricklaying, Carpentry, Multi-Skills and Painting & Decorating. There are also courses such as Construction & The Built Environment for students aiming for managerial roles within the industry.

We are currently engaged in a £15m redevelopment of the site which is scheduled for completion next year. This will see a new specialist training facility interlinked to the fully refurbished current building, creating a Construction and Engineering Centre that will offer state-of-the-art facilities. Once completed the new centre will offer courses in Plumbing, Engineering and Electrical Installation, alongside the current courses.

Our students often progress to higher levels of study, sometimes with us, sometimes with other providers. The vast majority of our students progress to high quality positive destinations, including employment within the trades, apprenticeships and university.

In addition to our wide range of courses, we offer you industry-standard facilities, which means the best learning environment for you.

We hope that you will take the time to join our Interactive Tour and to view one of our course presentations. You can also explore our main website to learn more about the college, and to visit our 360 tours We hope to be able to welcome you in person to our new Rainham campus at an open event in the future, before you start your exciting journey with us.
