New City College, Hackney campus

I am delighted that you are considering studying with us at New City College, Hackney Campus and I hope you will get an opportunity to visit in person before starting next September. Don’t forget to sign up to receive information as soon as it is available about forthcoming dates, and in the meantime, please watch our campus video.

We are dedicated to providing the highest standard of education and preparing our students for successful careers in the future. Each year we send over 1,000 students to university, apprenticeships or on to further study. Some of our students have gone on to have fantastic careers in business, media, elite sport, nursing, construction, engineering and more.

We also offer courses for adults, including a range of specialist professional qualifications, English and Maths courses, including ESOL, and some fantastic ‘just for fun’ leisure courses.

We have a strong focus on developing students’ employability skills through classroom activities, work placements and partnerships with hospitals, premier division sporting organisations and leading construction companies to name a few.

I am passionate about further education and the difference it can make to the life chances of young people. I look forward to supporting you through the next stage of your journey.

"I really love being a student at New City College Hackney. I am grateful to my tutors and the Learning Support team, for their guidance through my course and pushing me to achieve. I am also a student ambassador, which is an excellent opportunity to gain some work experience and has helped me to develop my team working and communication skills."

Rayhan

"I have really enjoyed developing new skills, meeting new people, and using my language skills to translate for people where English is not their first language. Being an ambassador has also assisted me with my course, by giving me confidence and belief in myself."
